we went to a wedding this weekend. the kids cleaned up real spiffy like.
our friends married.
this man. (purple tie.)
and this woman. (tallest one.)
and it was really, really wonderful.
joshua was there. (bearded one.)
and i was there.
and once in a while, a wedding can stay longer with you.
the joy of the day is too big for the few hours that held it, that heard them say, “i do.” this was that kind of wedding. stopping to think about its power and the good thing that happened, i feel the holy spirit come near. i am excited for the future of these two people who have honored the lord and honored each other.
